The Rushmore Offers The Extell Choice
Buyers can choose from three interior designs at Riverside South development on the Upper West Side
New York, NY (April 10, 2007) - Extell Development Company is known for offering buyers "The Extell Choice," a variety of options in luxury layouts, finishes, services and amenities. The Rushmore, Extell's second luxury condominium development on Riverside Boulevard, offers buyers a choice of three distinct luxury finish selections.
Buyers at the new Upper West Side development can choose from an exceptional selection of classic, contemporary and traditional design combinations for kitchens, baths, powder rooms and hardwood flooring.
"The Extell Choice" provides buyers with interior design options of the highest quality when buying a new home, which is unique in the New York City market," said Gary Barnett, president of Extell Development Company. "At The Rushmore, buyers can select a new home based on their specific design tastes and needs."
The "Classic" design at The Rushmore is light and bright, and features wide-plank cherry wood flooring. Kitchens offer honed Pietra Cardosa countertops and Calacatta marble long brick backsplashes, accented by painted white shaker style cabinetry with ribbed glass panels. The classic design's luxurious master bathrooms offer Travertine flooring, countertops and tub surrounds, and Toto water closets. Custom wood vanities offer plenty of storage in both the master bathrooms and secondary bathrooms. The secondary bathrooms pair geometric marble mosaic flooring with polished marble countertops. The powder rooms also feature Blue De Savoie marble flooring, along with patterned marble accent walls and polished nickel fittings.
The "Contemporary" finishes feature modern steel and grey tones in the kitchen, bathrooms and powder room. Kitchens offer French white oak flooring, Statuary marble countertops and backsplash, glossy charcoal lacquer lower cabinetry and etched glass upper cabinetry. The master bathrooms include elegant travertine and white glass wall tiles, while secondary bathrooms feature marble mosaic flooring and custom wood vanities. Contemporary powder rooms offer Himalayan silk marble accent walls, as well as marble flooring and countertops.
The "Traditional" design is marked by inviting, warm hues with kitchens that feature granite countertops, glass tile backsplashes and Makore dark wood cabinetry with ribbed glass panels. The master bathrooms' Travertine flooring and countertops compliment the cream limestone walls. The secondary bathrooms offer detailed mosaic stone flooring, limestone countertops and wall tiles, and custom wood vanities. The marble floors and countertops in the traditional design powder rooms are accented by a wall in Serpegiante Gargano Travertine laid in a herringbone pattern.
All classic, contemporary and traditional designed homes at The Rushmore feature Kohler sinks and tubs, Waterworks fittings, Sub-Zero, Viking and Miele appliances, washers and dryers, and monitoring systems. Several homes also include expansive private terraces.
The Rushmore offers residents front-door access to Riverside Park South and unobstructed views of the Hudson River. Resort-like amenities include: La Palestra Fitness, Spa and Wellness services in the building's 7,000 square foot state-of-the-art fitness facility; a 24-hour doorman and renowned Abigail Michaels concierge service; a 50-foot indoor swimming pool; bicycle/carriage storage room; an impressive garden atrium; a landscaped sundeck; wide-ranging entertainment suite with catering capabilities, private theater, family game room and billiards room; and on-site parking is also available. A unique partnership with Kidville, NY provides each resident with a free class and membership to the near-by Kidville Upper West Side location. Kidville is also assisting in the creation of the on-site indoor playground.
Designed by preeminent architect Costas Kondylis, The Rushmore's 16-story base gives rise to two soaring towers standing 43 stories tall with 289 residences ranging from 717 to 3,585 square feet. The one-to-five-bedroom homes, priced from approximately $1 million to more than $7 million, will be ready for occupancy winter 2008.
