  • Anthony Mannarino

    Executive Vice President

    Anthony Mannarino oversees Extell's extensive portfolio of residential, office, retail, hospitality and mixed-use developments. Before joining the Extell Team, Mr. Mannarino served as Managing Director for Tishman Speyer where he was responsible for development and new business initiatives in the New York region. Previously, he was Managing Partner of Sony Center, a 1.3 million square foot mixed-use development in Berlin, Germany. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer, he had served as the acting President of the New York City Economic Development Corporation, the City's primary agency for economic development, business growth and retention. He also served as the Executive Director of the New York City Industrial Development Authority.

    Mr. Mannarino is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Citizens Budget Commission, the Board of the New School for Public Engagement and is a member of the School's Alumni Council. He is a member REBNY and its Economic Development Committee and serves on the Board of the Hudson Square BID. He has taught at the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate and Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Mr. Mannarino earned a B.A. and an M.A. in Urban Affairs and Policy Analysis from Milano/The New School for Management and Urban Policy.

    Donna Gargano

    Senior Vice President, Development

    Donna oversees the planning, rezoning, development, marketing and sales for five million square feet of residential and commercial developments. Prior to joining Extell, she served as President of American Continental Properties Group, a private real estate investment and development company where she was responsible for acquisitions and development. Ms. Gargano earned a BS in Architecture from New York Institute of Technology and MBA in Finance and Real Estate from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.

    Raizy Haas

    Senior Vice President, Project Management and Development

    As Senior Vice President of Project Management and Development, Raizy Haas is responsible for all phases of development, from assembly, acquisition and design through sales and marketing. Ms. Haas’ emphasis on collaboration and innovation defines her interactive and committed partnership with Extell’s construction, finance, acquisition, sales and marketing teams. Ms. Haas works collaboratively with city, state and federal governments, including zoning and land use, landmarks commission and city planning agencies.

    Since beginning at Extell, Ms. Haas has worked on a wide range of projects including: 45 Walker Street, 65 East 96th Street, 330 East 72nd Street, Altair 18 & 20, the Orion, 995 Fifth Avenue, The Lucida, Ariel East & West and the International Gem Tower. In 2010, Ms. Haas secured the approval of the International Gem Tower as a foreign trade zone (FTZ).

    Ms. Haas sits on the Zoning and Land Use Committee of the Real Estate Board of New York. She is also a member of the YMWREA (Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association of New York). In 2006, Ms. Haas was named as one of Crain’s “40 under Forty.”

    David Rothstein

    Executive Vice President, Construction

    David Rothstein, who has over 26 years of New York City building experience, manages project construction activities from conception to completion for Extell projects in all locations. Principal and founder of Pierpont Group, Mr. Rothstein was also formerly a principal at Millennium Partners, and was Director of Construction for General Atlantic Realty Corporation. Mr. Rothstein studied Construction Management at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn New York and Architectural Technology at New York Institute of Technology.

    Joseph Montano

    Director of Construction

    Joseph Montano oversees all aspects of Extell's Riverside South projects from planning to completion of construction. Previously Mr. Montano worked for Hudson Waterfront. He has provided services for sub-contractors, general contractors, construction managers, and developers for the past 33 years. He held positions as field superintendent, project engineer, project manager, and director of construction. Mr. Montano earned a degree in Civil Engineering from Newark College of Engineering.

    Marc Kwestel

    Executive Vice President, Finance

    Marc Kwestel identifies, sources, negotiates, and closes the debt facilities for Extell projects. Additional duties include negotiating joint venture agreements with Extell's institutional joint venture partners. Previously, Mr. Kwestel was employed by Wellsford Real Properties, a real estate merchant banking firm. Mr. Kwestel earned an MBA in Real Estate Finance from Columbia University and a B.A. in Economics from Yeshiva University.

    Ahuva Genack

    General Counsel, Chief Legal Officer

    Ahuva Genack provides counsel to Extell for all of its corporate and real estate matters. She has 25 years of experience in all areas of law, including commercial law, securities law, antitrust, real estate, commercial landlord tenant, trademark infringement, oil and gas cases, and labor law, with particular emphasis on litigation, negotiation and mediation. Ms. Genack earned her J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley (Order of the Coif); an M.A. from Columbia University; and, a B.A. from Hunter College (Phi Beta Kappa - Junior Year). She is admitted in the following jurisdictions: New York (1978); U.S. District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York (1980); U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit (1993); and, U.S. Supreme Court (1997).

    Jennifer Schwartz

    Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel

    Jennifer Schwartz provides counsel to Extell in regard to real estate transactions and corporate matters. She has thirteen years of experience in complex commercial real estate transactions and development law. Prior to joining Extell, Ms. Schwartz was a Shareholder at Polsinelli Shughart P.C., and prior to that she was an Associate at Polsinelli and at King Hershey P.C. She first began representing Extell eleven years ago while at Polsinelli. Ms. Schwartz is admitted in the following jurisdictions: Kansas (1998), Missouri (1999), and New York (2005). She earned her J.D. (Order of the Coif), as well as her B.A. (With Honors, Highest Distinction) from the University of Kansas.

    Keith Goich

    Senior Vice President, Design

    Mr. Goich is Extell's Senior Vice President of Architecture and Development. He works directly with Gary Barnett on early-stage design feasibility for acquisition and financing, as well as detailed planning and architectural design of projects through all stages of the development process.
    Mr. Goich has designed some of New York’s most iconic buildings, including the award-winning One Madison Park (22 East 23rd Street), the Barbizon (140 East 63rd Street), and the Georgica (305 East 85th Street). His design portfolio with Extell includes the Orion (350 West 42nd Street), the Stanhope (995 Fifth Avenue), Ariel East (2628 Broadway), and Altair 18 (32 West 18th Street).
    Mr. Goich studied at Cornell University Architecture School and has over thirty years of international architectural design experience encompassing large-scale commercial, residential, and institutional projects. He is a registered architect licensed to practice architecture in the state of New York.

    Roy Kim

    Senior Vice President, Design

    Roy Kim, a design architect, oversees Extell's projects to ensure the highest level of design integrity. Previously he worked on the Seattle Public Library, exhibition design for Zaha Hadid, and custom residences for Battersby-Howat. He was also Senior Designer and Project Manager for the Nokia flagship stores, and Director of Predevelopment for Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group. Mr. Kim earned an M.Arch. and BSc. from the University of British Columbia. He is a member of the IIDA (International Interior Designers' Association), and a past board member for Consolidated Works.

    Carol Richardson

    Executive Vice President, Leasing

    Carol Richardson facilitates Extell's commercial leasing efforts with respect to its new developments and existing assets. Since 1994, as an employee of Extell, Ms. Richardson has managed and leased multi-family assets and commercial projects, facilitated residential/golf course developments, administered project renovations, and acquisition/sales. Prior to her tenure at Extell, she managed and leased commercial space. Ms. Richardson has been accredited as a Real Property Administrator by the Building Owners and Managers Association, is a Certified Commercial Investment Member, and holds a Kansas Broker's License.

    Tamar Rothenberg

    Vice President, Marketing

    Tamar Rothenberg oversees and implements the marketing initiatives for all of Extell's New York development projects. Prior to joining Extell, Ms. Rothenberg worked as marketing associate at a publicly traded national home builder, overseeing all marketing, market research and pricing analysis of for-sale and for-lease developments located primarily in New Jersey, Florida and Connecticut. Ms. Rothenberg earned a B.A. in Psychology from Barnard College, Columbia University (Magna Cum Laude).

    Dov Hertz

    Executive Vice President

    Mr. Hertz strategizes, directs, negotiates, and supervises all aspects of acquisitions. Additional tasks include assembling development sites, acquiring air rights, and tenant buyouts. He has twenty years experience in ownership, management, and brokerage capacities. As Senior Vice President at Everest Broadband Networks he was responsible for 250 million square feet of access deals across the United States. During ten years as a real estate broker he focused on investment sales in the New York metropolitan area. Mr. Hertz attended New York University where he earned advanced certification in real estate taxation.

    Wendy E. Alper

    Wendy has 15 years of experience in real estate property management. Prior to joining Extell Development in 2006, she was the Director of Management of Property Markets Group Inc. She has experience in all aspects of the residential property management industry. A seasoned professional with leadership qualities she has successfully developed and implemented long term strategic management plans for a variety of residential buildings. She graduated with a B.S in Business Administration from Adelphi University.

    Julie Long

    Executive Vice President, Accounting and Reporting

    Julie Long oversees accounting, financial reporting, cash management, and human resources for Extell Development Company. Prior to joining Extell, Ms. Long worked as a corporate accountant for the Jewish Hospital Healthcare Services, Inc in Louisville Kentucky. Ms. Long earned a B.A. from the University of Louisville and holds a CPA license.
