Anthony Mannarino
Executive Vice President
Anthony Mannarino is responsible for all new development activity at Extell. Before joining the Extell Team, Mr. Mannarino served as Managing Director for Tishman Speyer where he oversaw various development and new business initiatives in the New York region including, The Hearst Tower, Citigroup’s Court Square Two, 222 East 41st Street and Gotham Center – a 3.5 million square-foot mixed use development in Long Island City, among other efforts. He also spearheaded the Tishman Speyer bid for a 13-million square foot mixed commercial and residential development planned for Manhattan’s Hudson Yards. Previously, he was the Managing Partner of the $1 Billion Sony Center Project in Berlin, Germany where he directed the development of over 1.3 million square feet of office, residential, retail, cultural and entertainment spaces, as well as a 40,000 square-foot public forum.
Prior to joining Tishman Speyer in 1994, Mr. Mannarino was the acting President of the New York City Economic Development Corporation, the city’s primary agency for economic development, business growth and retention. At EDC, he was responsible for all commercial, industrial, and waterfront development; planning, design and construction; and finance. He also served as the Executive Director of the New York City Industrial Development Authority.
Mr. Mannarino is a member of the Alumni Council for Milano/ The New School for Management and Urban Policy, a member of REBNY and its Economic Development Committee. He has served on the Boards of several Business Improvement Districts and has lectured at Wharton, New York University, The Yale School of Architecture, The New School and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. He recently served as a development advisor to GoldenTree Insite Partners and Trinity Real Estate.
